Our style of worship may be new to you, so we wanted to explain why we worship the way we do! The bottom line on worship is that it be from the heart - heartfelt! Please don’t feel any pressure to "conform" to our style, we encourage you to be comfortable and worship God from your own heart! Here is a Biblical explanation of why we sing the songs we sing, why you see people lifting their hands to the Lord, and expressing their love for the Lord.

1. God is Looking For Those Who Worship Him
"But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." John 4:23-24
2. We Stand in Reverence, Clap, Lift Our Hands, Shout, And Use Musical Instruments In Worship
"Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10 "O clap your hands all you people, shout unto God with a voice of triumph." Psalm 47:1 "Life up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord." Psalm 134:2 "Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet, praise Him with the psaltry and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance. Praise Him with the stringed insturments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: Praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals." Psalm 150:3-5

Our weekend services are a great time of heartfelt worship and practical teaching from God’s Word. Service times are Saturdays at 5&7pm and Sundays at 9&11am at 995 Romence Road in Portage.

We want you to feel comfortable and come as you are! We are “culturally casual” around here. Whether you’re a jeans ’n’ t-shirt person or prefer a three-piece suit, the choice is yours!
